For our June meet we’ll be reading Fruit Fly by Josh Silver 🍊🪰 A sharp, darkly funny literary thriller about ambition, authorship, and the ethics of storytelling. When a writer facing career irrelevance becomes fixated on the life of a vulnerable young man, things quickly become messy, and morally questionable. Think obsession, exploitation, identity, and plenty of discussion about who has the right to tell a story. Whether you’ve finished the book, are halfway through, or are mainly coming for the conversation, you’re very welcome. The vibe is relaxed, informal, and very much about enjoying books, meeting fellow readers, and having a good chat. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones 😊📚✨
