Maes Knoll Circular Walk

🙋 Member-led by Nick W A lovely 3-4 hour walk taking in some of the best countryside just south of Bristol. We’ll head up Maes Knoll, an Iron Age hill fort with fantastic views over the city, before looping back.
Expect a mix of open views, woodland (with bluebells in season 🌸) and peaceful countryside paths. The route is about 12km long and has an elevation gain of 280m.
We’ll finish back at the Rising Sun for a well-earned pint/beverage.
Bring water, snacks and wear suitable footwear.
Parking: Limited parking in Pensford, but accessible by bus (375/376 from Bristol Bus Station, Redcliffe and Temple Meads)
